WHERE DOES "TROLL CO." COME FROM?

My buddies and I, after working all day, always would say we looked like Trolls when we were done with our shift. Covered in grime, with disheveled hair, we could have easily passed for bridge-dwellers. However, with the rise of the internet, the term 'troll' took on a new meaning—a person who hides behind a keyboard, making disrespectful remarks. We wanted to reclaim the original, tough-as-nails image of a Troll, one who never backs down. We aimed to go against the prevailing trend and bring back the real Troll.

We started with our "MAKE TROLLS GREAT AGAIN" hat and we've grown from there.

WHERE WE STAND

It’s ok if you don’t want to be a lawyer, dentist or some other type of office job. Trades can be very rewarding, pay well and at the end of the day you can stand back and say, “I built that.”

There are a lot of hard-working men and women in the trades right now, but they are not being replaced fast enough with skilled young people. It’s time to change the mindset that being in the trades is less important than a doctor or lawyer. Support and encourage blue collar jobs; don’t steer our young people away from them.
